After going through not one, but two pregnancies during her three-year-long layoff from the fight game, Alyona Rassohyna is back in shape and ready to bring home ONE Championship gold.
The last time fight fans saw Rassohyna compete was all the way back in September 2021 when she went toe-to-toe with Stamp Fairtex — the current undisputed atomweight MMA world champion.
Now, the Ukrainian sensation is set to make her long-awaited return to the ring at ONE Fight Night 27 on January 10 when she meets division staple Denice Zamboanga for the interim ONE atomweight MMA crown.

During her pre-fight interview with the promotion, Rassohyna discussed her long road back to competing after birthing two children and regaining the body she had sacrificed to become a mother.
"I lost 23 kilos after giving birth. It was difficult for me. This is the second childbirth. We were able to do that," Rassohyna said. "We were able to get our shape back. We were able to get stronger. So that's a good result for me."
"I would like to hold the title of [undisputed] champion in this organization. I deserve that."
Alyona Rassohyna looks to snap Denice Zamboanga's three-fight win streak at ONE Fight Night 27
It will be no easy task for Aloyna Rassohyna when she steps back onto martial arts' biggest global stage this Friday night.
Not only will she have to shake off three years of ring rust, but she'll be facing one of the toughest atomweights in the game today.
Denice Zamboanga rides into the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on a three-fight win streak, including victories over Lin Heqin, Julie Mezabarba, and Noelle Grandjean. 'The Menace' also holds noteworthy wins over Jihin Radzuan and Mei Yamaguchi.
Those victories have placed her as the second-ranked contender in the division and one fight away from a long-awaited clash with three-sport superstar Stamp Fairtex.
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 27 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, January 10, in U.S. primetime.
