29-year-old Canadian submission grappling sensation Dante Leon can't forget the sweet taste of victory after a successful ONE Championship debut at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video last weekend.

Leon turned in an awe-inspiring performance, dominating MMA fighter Bruno Pucci in his first-ever grappling match in the world's largest martial arts organization.

The Canadian star needed just a few minutes to turn Pucci into a human pretzel and force the tap via a triangle armbar. The victory also netted Leon a hefty $50,000 performance bonus for his efforts, which he was thrilled with.

Leon says he plans on using the prize money to further his skills and reinvest in his home gym, so that he can put on even more epic performances in the future.

The 29-year-old Pedigo Submission Fighting representative said:

"I think if I invest in my facilities and create, you know, even though I have some of the best training environments and some of the best training facilities and partners in the world, I truly believe that they can always be better and we can always be improved. So I think the more I improve that, the more I pay it forward and invest in myself, the more it will allow me to earn more bonuses in the future."

ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video took place live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, last Saturday, December 7. Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on Amazon Prime Video.

Dante Leon can't fathom the infinite possibilities in ONE Championship: "I'm just so hyped"

Dante Leon can't believe he now counts himself among the best martial artists in the world in ONE Championship.

That also means that he will never be at a loss for potential opponents at the highest level.

He told ONE Championship how excited he is to mix it up with the best:

"As I said in the interview, there are a lot of names out there that, you know, each week I see ONE posting that they've signed new people, and every single one that they've signed, it sparks some interest, whether it's to compete against or whether it's to see that person compete. You know, signing somebody like Marcelo [Garcia] is absolutely incredible. I'm just so hyped and interested to see him compete and see what he has in store for us."
