Retired U.S. Army Special Operations Sergeant Major John McPhee recently made an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. At one point during their nearly three-hour conversation, the two individuals discussed the controversial topic of defunding the poilce.
McPhee shared that he opposed the idea and could not believe how it could appeal to anybody. He then stated that if the police actually got defunded, the U.S. public would become more vulnerable to outside threats.
"I don't know how that sells with anybody... If we defunded the police, we'd be Mexico quicker than we thought... Because he cartels would just drive over the border."
