Mikey Musumeci has no plans of stopping.

The reigning ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion is already deep into his training camp for ONE 168: Denver mere weeks after he submitted old nemesis Gabriel Sousa at ONE 167 earlier this month.

Musumeci will challenge Kade Ruotolo in a massive champion-versus-champion super fight for the ONE lightweight submission grappling world title on September 6 at Ball Arena in Colorado.

Taking to Instagram over the past several days, Musumeci revealed he essentially built on the training camp he did for the Sousa match and continued his progress ahead of his fight against Ruotolo.

"Eleven weeks until we go again."

Already dubbed one of the best, if not the best, submission grappling matches of the year, the bout between Ruotolo and Musumeci will pit two of the greatest BJJ artists of this generation in ONE Championship's return to the United States.

Musumeci is a five-time BJJ world champion and has a perfect 7-0 record with five submission wins in ONE Championship.

Ruotolo, meanwhile, held titles in EBI, Who's Number One, and ADCC.

The ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion also boasts a perfect 7-0 record in ONE Championship, with one of his wins under MMA.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available at Ticketmaster.

Mikey Musumeci expects a barnburner against Kade Ruotolo

Mikey Musumeci and Kade Ruotolo are two of the best representatives of this era's Brazilian jiu-jitsu landscape, and their showdown at ONE 168: Denver could even define the discipline's current generation.

In his interview with ONE Championship commentator Mitch Chilson at ONE 167, Musumeci said he always wanted to train the Ruotolo twins, Tye and Kade, but a matchup in front of thousands would be far better than a private training session in a gym.

"I always ask to train with him, so why not just do it in front of a lot of people, it will be really exciting, you know? But also the energy we have with each other, so respectful. You don't have to be this macho guy like Gabriel [Souza] walking around like this (mimics chest out walking] with me the whole week. It's f***ing stupid! Guys, we're just having a match, 10 minutes, calm the f*** down."
