Former ONE strawweight kickboxing king Jonathan Di Bella assured his fans this week that he's in tip-top shape ahead of his re-booked world title clash against Prajanchai.

Over the last few months, Di Bella has been fighting tooth and nail to keep his reputation intact after failing to pass a hydration test one day before making his original appearance with Prajanchai at ONE Friday Fights 58.

According to the Canadian-Italian striker, he fell ill prior to the scheduled weigh-ins and wasn't fully recovered to take on the fight at catchweight.

Despite being heartbroken after losing his belt, Di Bella says his focus on Prajanchai never changed. In fact, he's 100 percent ready to reclaim his belt on June 28.

He told ONE:

"We kept sharp when we came back to the gym, and that's it. It was a repetition of the things we were doing before for him."

ONE Friday Fights 68 is available free on the ONE Super App and ONE's digital platforms in selected regions.

"I always want to be number one" - Jonathan Di Bella's future success against Prajanchai depends on whether or not he's got the champion's mindset

Jonathan Di Bella is just days away from fighting one of the biggest names in ONE Championship.

Prajanchai is widely known as one of the finest strikers in the world due to his vast kickboxing pedigree and championship status in Muay Thai's strawweight division.

Defeating Prajanchai will be huge since the Thai superstar has his sights set on adding a second belt. But Di Bella is unfazed. As long as he keeps his eye on the prize, he can do and achieve anything.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post, Di Bella said:

"Yeah, it's always mental, it's like I always want to be first, I always want to be number one, that's why I signed up in ONE, because I want to be the best. And all the best fighters are at ONE."
