Styles make fights, and that is what Johan Ghazali expects when he goes to war against Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver. The heavy-handed knockout machine meets the Mexican brawler in a flyweight Muay Thai matchup inside the Ball Arena on September 6.

There, the Rentap Muay Thai Gym star hopes to impress the watching world and score another majestic highlight-reel win – something that fans have been accustomed to throughout his electrifying ONE Championship campaign.

However, the 17-year-old teenage sensation knows it'll be far easier said than done. Still, he remains as excited as ever to lace on the four-ounce gloves for an absolute war.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA, Johan Ghazali broke down how his style will match up against Cruz's and why it should make for an interesting affair:

"We're both going to be aggressive, that's certain. It'll make this fight more exciting, and we'll see who falls first."

Both men should leave it all inside the circle come September 6, as they target a return to winning ways on the global stage.

After racking up a perfect 5-0 slate in he promotion, 'Jojo' suffered his first loss to Vietnamese striker Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 this past June. Cruz, meanwhile, has slumped to a pair of knockout defeats to Walter Goncalves and Sean Climaco since joining the ranks of the promotion.

Johan Ghazali confident he's far better than Josue Cruz

Never one to lack confidence, Johan Ghazali is sure that his dance partner at ONE 168: Denver is not on his level.

In an interview with Borneo Post Online, the teenage striker offered:

"My advantages will be my youth, my strength, my energy, my hunger, and I will play towards my strengths. And as long as throughout the fight there is no injury or complications, it will be fine."
