Filipino star Stephen Loman can't wait to see what will happen in the main event of ONE 168: Denver when Jonathan Haggerty defends his bantamweight Muay Thai world title against Thai superstar Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Expecting an action-filled world champion vs. world champion superfight, Loman has been patiently waiting to witness the two great strikers clash against each other on September 6.

While 'The General' Haggerty will try to defend his title for the second time, ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek is eager to join the exclusive club of ONE's double champs as he aims for the second belt in the second discipline.

Loman told Sportskeeda MMA what not to miss:

"Main event, of course. Haggerty and Superlek. That would be a really exciting fight because both are great fighters and they’ll finally stand against each other. We’ll see who will be knocked out.

On another note, he also mentioned his former foe, John Lineker, who will face Asa Ten Pow in a Muay Thai clash:

"That will be an explosive fight, and of course, Lineker’s fight against Asa Ten Pow. We’ll see if he can overcome the height difference. He’s a shorter fighter, let’s see if he can score against a taller opponent like Asa Ten Pow."

Tickets for ONE 168 are still available via Ticketmaster.

Stephen Loman talks about former foe John Lineker's switch to Muay Thai

Knowing that his former rival John Lineker is taking a new challenge in an entirely new discipline of striking at ONE 168: Denver, Stephen Loman is extremely excited.

Lineker will clash with Asa Ten Pow in his first-ever Muay Thai match inside the Ball Arena, Denver, on September 6. And for someone who knew how hard 'Hands of Stone' hit, Loman believes that the switch would be fruitful.

When asked if Lineker would be troubled, Stephen Loman said in the same interview:

"Not really, because he has all the tools to do it. He's a natural striker. Since he's coming over to Muay Thai, I feel that he's training his kicks heavily."
