Former ONE middleweight and light heavyweight MMA world champion Aung La N Sang doesn't seem too concerned about clashing with a Turkish powerhouse who has destroyed everyone in his wake. ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 will mark will mark the return of one of the promotion's most beloved figures, as he collides with the undefeated Shamil Erdogan at the Ball Arena.
Winner of his last three bouts by way of vicious finishes, Aung La believes he has practically seen it all throughout his illustrious career.
As such, the 39-year-old grizzled veteran dismissed Erdogan's feared Dagestani-style wrestling as a cause for concern.

'The Burmese Python' shared in an interview with Cageside Press:
"We have a lot of good wrestlers here, you know. We got some really good Dagestan wrestlers, Russian grapplers, and we have really good American wrestlers here [at Kill Cliff FC]."
Aung La N Sang routinely spars with killers down at Kill Cliff FC in Florida, so he certainly has a ton of experience against fighters with a similar skillset as Erdogan.
Then again, the 34-year-old is more than just a grappler, which he proved in his remarkable knockout of Fan Rong in his ONE debut last year.

Aung La N Sang says his love for fighting keeps him going
Aung La N Sang certainly has nothing to prove anymore at this stage of his career.
However, Myanmar's hero isn't keen on retiring anytime soon. 'The Burmese Python's undying passion for the sport remains, which is enough reason for him to keep doing what he does best.
Aung La told Cageside Press:
"It's going to be a tough and hard fight, but I love wars. That's a reason I'm a fighter - I want to feel the war, the violence of a fistfight."
