ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty said he has settled well in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. and is ready to go for his scheduled title defense there next month against flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9.

'The General' left for the 'Mile High City' from his camp in Thailand early so he can have enough transition time for his super title fight against 'The Kicking Machine' at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6.

It will be the main bout of the event happening at the Ball Arena and airing live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Jonathan Haggerty recently spoke to the South China Morning Post about his upcoming title defense, including how camp has been since they moved it to Denver, saying:

"Yeah, we're ready now. We're all settled in. We've been here for three and half weeks, four weeks. We're acclimatized. If we're not ready now, we'll never be ready. So we're feeling confident. I say we, me and [coach] Chris [Knowles], we put in 100% in this fight camp, time and effort. So that's why I'm saying we're ready."

ONE 168 will see Jonathan Haggerty defend the world title he won in April 2023. He defeated Brazilian challenger Felipe Lobo by TKO in his last fight in February to successfully retained the belt.

Meanwhile, out to dethrone him is Superlek, who is climbing a weight division higher to see his double world champion goals through.

Jonathan Haggerty views Superlek fight as one of the most important in his career

Jonathan Haggerty considers his scheduled title clash against Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 as one the most important fights in his career. He is out to mark it with a convicing victory and maintain his standing as the bantamweight Muay Thai king.

He shared this in the same interview, highlighting that competing in the United States is something he always aspired for.

The 27-year-old Englishman said:

"Yeah, this is probably one of the most important fights in my career, and if not, it will be one of the most important fights. To be fighting out in the U.S. is exciting for me, because I remember, when I was a child, I used to grow up watching the fights in the American cards, all the crowd. I always told myself, and I always told my dad, this is where I want to fight and to be headlining the show."

Heading into ONE 168: Denver, Haggerty won his last six matches, with the last three all having world title implications.
