UFC bantamweight Johnny Munhoz gave a shout out to former US president Donald Trump and business magnate Elon Musk after his win over Liudvik Sholinian on the preliminary card of UFC Vegas 64.

After taking over Twitter last month, Musk laid off nearly 50% of platform's 7500 employees as part of an ambitious revamp plan. According to Munhoz, Trump's MAGA campaign will now find success, one tweet at a time. The 29-year-old said during his post-fight octagon interview:

"Elon Musk, Donnie J, we're back to make America great again, one tweet at a time."

Munhoz came out as the early aggresor in the clash against Sholinian, connecting several front kicks to the body. 'Kid Kvenbo' had no difficulty winning the striking battle in the first frame as his opponent failed to get past the front kicks and jabs.

The second round played out similarly, with Munhoz finding early success with a massive right hand. While he spent around a minute sprawled against the cage, Munhoz managed to avoid the takedown. While Sholinian came charging with looping right hands in the final frame, 'Kid Kvenbo' displayed excellent defense to pick up an emphatic decision win.

Elon Musk confirms that Donald Trump won't be returning to Twitter before mid-terms

Prior to his complete acquisition of Twitter, Elon Musk had promised to change some of the platform’s content moderation policies and do away with permanent account bans. The Tesla and Space X CEO had also promised to restore the account of Donald Trump who was banned from the platform after the US Capitol riots on January 6, 2021.

With Musk radically changing Twitter a week before the UFC mid-term elections, many feared that Trump would be back on the platform before the polls. However, Musk confirmed that none of the banned accounts would be restored without a clear process, which will atleast take a few more weeks. The AI magnate wrote on Twitter:

"Twitter will not allow anyone who was de-platformed for violating Twitter rules back on platform until we have a clear process for doing so, which will take at least a few more weeks"
