'We're getting straight to the point" - Gervonta Davis gives brutal prediction for Ryan Garcia fight

According to 'Tank', Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia isn't going to last long.

The two lightweight stars are set to collide later this month on pay-per-view in Las Vegas. The bout has been long in the making, as they've feuded for years leading into the matchup. That lengthy feud has helped elevate the massive matchup into one of the biggest fights of the last few years.

Nonetheless, the two lightweight contenders are heading into the matchup with something to prove. For his part, 'KingRy' has predicted that he will end the fight early and get a big knockout win. It appears that 'Tank' is thinking the same way.

As first reported by Michael Benson of TalkSport on Twitter, Gervonta Davis is eyeing an early knockout. Upon previewing the fight, the WBA (Regular) lightweight champion stated that it was going to take him some time to figure out his opponent.

However, from there, it won't last long. He stated:

“I'll figure him out a little bit and then- I ain't gonna lie, I'm gonna get to the point in this fight. We're getting straight to the point. This fight's showing he ain't that person.”

Ahead of Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia, the rivalry between 'Tank' and 'KingRy' continues to heat up.

While the rivalry between the two likely just began as a result of the two athletes being competitive, it quickly turned personal. Garcia and Davis have had a few run-ins in public that have quickly turned sour and almost into a full-blown brawl.

While the two have managed to avoid fighting outside the ring, it seems that could be coming if there's no proper security in place for fight week. Over the last few months, Garcia has taken a few shots at Davis over the many legal issues that he's dealt with.

In an interview with Michael Benson from TalkSport, Gervonta Davis stated that Ryan Garcia doesn't have the right to judge him. 'Tank' stated that his next opponent likes to act innocent and praise god, but does things such as drink and gamble.

“He's preaching his, 'I praise God,' and everything, but he drinks a lot, he gambles a lot. Just don't say [you're] this praise God person like, 'I'm a saint, I don't do nothing wrong.' Yeah [he's a hypocrite]. He's more of a bad person than me!”
