'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane was out to settle a personal grudge at ONE Fight Night 23 over the weekend.

The Senegalese giant did just that, decimating his compatriot Boucher Ketchup in under a round in their heavyweight kickboxing brawl.

Speaking during his ONE Fight Night 23 post-event interview, 'Reug Reug' admitted feeling a great deal of satisfaction in smashing his trash-talking opponent in the most definitive way possible:

"This fight finished only in the first round, but this guy has a [big following] in Senegal. Everybody knows this guy. He's a good guy. He has good wrestling in Senegal."

While 'Reug Reug' commends Ketchup's skills in traditional Senegalese wrestling combat, he believes the 34-year-old had no business trading fists with him. He added:

"But this guy is not at a high level. Everybody should know this guy is, [we're not] the same level. My boxing is much better now."

'Reug Reug' has truly made significant strides with his striking, which we've seen in his three-fight winning streak in MMA.

His concussive power was in full display against Ketchup, as the 971 MMA and Black Panther Sports product displayed great patience and precision to land a devasting finishing left cross in round 1.

'Reug Reug's striking skills will be tested against Anatoly Malykhin

'Reug Reug's long-awaited clash with ONE triple champ Anatoly Malykhin is finally set at ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8 at State Farm Arena.

However, to dethrone the heavyweight MMA king from his throne, the Senegalese monster must showcase his evolution as a complete martial artist.

Given the Russian's prowess in freestyle wrestling, these two behemoths could cancel each other out in the grappling department.

By all accounts, the first man to detonate his world-ending power may very well leave this match-up with 26 pounds of gold.
