With both fighters at the top of their game, two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty thinks it's the perfect time to run it back with Superlek.

In 2018, 'The Kicking Machine' scored a second-round doctor's stoppage TKO against Haggerty in the UK. Six years later, they'll go again on martial arts' biggest global stage as Haggerty puts his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship on the line against Superlek in the ONE 168: Denver headliner on Friday, September 6.

Both Haggerty and Superlek go into their clash in The Mile High City sitting on a pair of impressive win streaks—not to mention that both are ONE world champions, with Haggerty holding the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing crowns while Superlek is the reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world titleholder.

Speaking with the South China Morning Post, Haggerty is excited to rematch Superlek during a time when the two of them are at their absolute best.

"Now we're both on the biggest platform in the world, and we're both at our prime. We're at the peak of our careers, so let's go."

Superlek and Jonathan Haggerty put their unbeaten streaks on the line at ONE 168: Denver

Jonathan Haggerty goes into ONE 168: Denver having won his last six fights inside the Circle, including a trio of highlight-reel knockouts against Thai legend Nong-O Hama, reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade, and 'Demolition Man' Felipe Lobo.

Meanwhile, 'The Kicking Machine' has amassed an incredible 10-fight win streak and has yet to lose in the art of eight limbs under the ONE Championship banner.

In September 2023, Superlek scored the biggest win of his career thus far, logging a unanimous decision victory over 'The Iron Man' Rodtang in a three-round war dubbed by many as the best Muay Thai fight of the last 50 years.
