Two-sport bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty believes Superlek Kiatmoo9 is not as unbeatable as everybody thinks.

As far as 'The General' is concerned, the Thai megastar still makes mistakes inside the circle. That's something he's looking forward to exploiting when they cross swords in the curtain closer of ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside Ball Arena.

While Superlek is highly regarded as one of the most cerebral strikers on the planet right now, Haggerty thinks he's got 'The Kicking Machine' all figured out.

The 145-pound Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion shared in part two of his Road to Superlek series on YouTube:

"Against Superlek, we're going to be working on a lot of blocking and counter-attacking. So, for instance, he likes to throw the jab a lot before he kicks. However, we've been working on that. We're starting to see his weaknesses."

Jonathan Haggerty's observation regarding how Superlek sets up his chain of attacks seems to be on point.

However, it is worth noting that the flyweight kickboxing world champion's extremely high fight IQ separates him from the rest of the pack. Superlek's ability to adjust on the fly and attack effectively for five full rounds is indeed second to none.

We'll soon see if Haggerty has indeed found a way to decipher Superlek's unsolvable puzzle.

Jonathan Haggerty anticipating a bloody war against Superlek

As confident as Jonathan Haggerty is of victory, he doesn't expect to leave Ball Arena unscathed.

After all, he'll be trading strike for strike against one of the pound-for-pound bests in the world, and he expects to be tested like never before.

'The General' said in a Sports Illustrated interview:

"I'm expecting the worst – and a lot of blood. And a lot of elbows. I can't wait."

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
