Jonathan Haggerty isn't focused on anyone other than Superlek.
On Friday night, Haggerty looks to add a legendary name to his resume in the ONE 168: Denver main event. The two-sport world champion will have added motivation against ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek, as he's raising the stake by putting his bantamweight Muay Thai strap on the line.
Haggerty has various options for super-fights moving forward after claiming the bantamweight kickboxing world title in November 2023. With that said, the UK superstar is only worried about his rematch against Superlek at the moment, which he explained by saying this during an interview with Inside Fighting:
"We’re coming up against Superlek, one of the best pound-for-pound fighters, and we're not taking him lightly. All the focus and energy is there."

Jonathan Haggerty is coming off three of the biggest wins in his combat sports career - Nong-O (Muay Thai), Fabricio Andrade (kickboxing), and Felipe Lobo (Muay Thai). The 27-year-old plans to continue building momentum against arguably the toughest opponent of his promotional tenure, Superlek.

Jonathan Haggerty and Superlek battle to determine two-sport world champion
Jonathan Haggerty made history by knocking out Fabricio Andrade for the vacant ONE bantamweight kickboxing title. Few fighters have become a two-sport world champion in ONE Championship. Haggerty etched his name into the history books with the unforgettable accomplishment and Superlek looks to do the same.
Similar to Haggerty, Superlek is coming off three impressive wins - Rodtang (Muay Thai), Takeru Segawa (kickboxing), and Kongthoranee (Muay Thai).
Superlek holds a promotional Muay Thai record of 10-0. Yet, the flyweight kickboxing world champion hasn't secured a title in "The Art of Eight Limbs" since signing with ONE Championship. Therefore, he has a golden opportunity to extend his resume and become a two-sport king at ONE 168: Denver.
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver, which is headlined by Haggerty vs Superlek inside the Ball Arena, can be found on Ticketmaster.
