Fabricio Andrade is heading into one of the biggest fights of his career with one of his most trusted advisers in his corner.
The reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world champion will defend his throne against familiar foe Kwon Won Il at the stacked ONE 170 card on Jan. 24, 2025, at Impact Arena.
Taking to Instagram, Andrade said one of the first people to help him develop his already lethal striking is Tiger Muay Thai boxing head coach John Hutchinson.
Andrade said Hutchinson helped train him at the Phuket facility before his first match against Kwon at ONE 158 in June 2022.

"I started to work with Johnny Boy when I first came to Tiger, we did a little bit of work. We came back to work for my fight against Kwon, actually. So for my first fight against Kwon, we started to work on my boxing and we've been working together since," said Fabricio Andrade.
Although Hutchinson helped Andrade with his boxing, 'Wonder Boy' didn't throw a punch to send Kwon reeling in their first matchup.
Andrade folded Kwon with a soul-crushing roundhouse kick to the body in their first match under the ONE Championship banner in Singapore.
Since that knockout win over Kwon, Andrade stopped John Lineker to claim the vacant ONE bantamweight MMA world title at ONE Fight Night 7.
Fabricio Andrade plans to execute John Hutchinson's lessons in world title defense against Kwon Won Il
Fabricio Andrade has his martial arts base rooted in kickboxing, yet he plans to turn to the Sweet Science when he defends the ONE bantamweight MMA world title against Kwon Won Il.
The bantamweight MMA king has steadily worked on his boxing with famed coach John Hutchinson, and he plans to use what he learned from Tiger Muay Thai's boxing head coach to knock Kwon out at ONE 170 in Bangkok.
"He’s been a part of my camp to keep me working on my hands and gain more power. I hopefully gain more power with my hands. It’s something that I don’t have, a [one-shot] knockout with my hands, so that’s something that I want to do in my career."
