Second-ranked ONE Championship bantamweight Muay Thai contender 'King of the North' Nico Carrillo of Scotland knows he would not be in the position he's in right now if it were not for those who came before him.
This is why the 26-year-old Deachkalek Muay Thai Academy product has chosen to give back to the next generation in his own way, paying it forward by sharing his knowledge.
He told Leather'd Podcast that he has fostered a community that shares knowledge and experience of the fight game.

'King of the North' said:
"Yes. So we’ve built a community. It’s sorta like school. It’s not just a website you go on. Let me go back to the start. I’ve built something called nicomuaythai.com. And it’s all Muay Thai. All my tutorials. From beginners to advance to my level of fighting. All the stuff I learned from all my life, my time training at different camps in Thailand, training with all different champions."
Carrillo continued:
"The stuff that I learned from the very start to now is all there. From beginner stuff, how your stance should be, where your feet positioning should be for Muay Thai to where your hands should be, to basics - how to throw a kick or a punch properly. From there, we got a bit more of the advanced stuff - kicking, clinching, boxing, blocking, power techniques, how to fight at southpaw - everything is in that community. And I say community because I think it’s not just about clicking on the videos. But everyone who subscribes can all interact with each other as well. It’s a pretty good thing going on right now. It’s fresh but I can see it taking off."
