“Went into my first fight with everything” - Johan Estupinan says joining ONE Championship was his life’s greatest moment

Johan Estupinan knows that while he's yet to reach unthinkable heights in his career, the moment that remains his best one was receiving the call to join ONE Championship.

The Colombian spitfire has since established his presence on the global stage and he can elevate his name even higher when he takes on fellow phenom Johan Ghazali at ONE 170.

Estupinan's flyweight Muay Thai tussle against Ghazali goes down at Impact Arena on Jan. 24.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Estupinan admitted he was over the moon when he got the call to join the promotion.

Johan Estupinan said:

"My favorite moment was when I was told I’d be fighting inside of ONE. I went into my first fight with everything, and I demonstrated my abilities to the world."

Estupinan ultimately repaid the promotion's trust when he ran through Kouta Omori in his debut in May 2024.

Following his complete beatdown of Omori, Estupinan chalked up three more wins against Zafer Sayik, Sean Climaco, and Zakaria El Jamari for a perfect 4-0 record in the promotion.

His win over Sayik was the lone fight Estupinan had in ONE Championship that reached the judges' scorecards.

'Panda Kick' now has a chance to elevate his presence in the promotion when he matches up with another rising star in Johan Ghazali in Bangkok.

Johan Estupinan ready to represent Latin America at ONE 170

Johan Estupinan won't just carry the Colombian flag when he takes on Johan Ghazali at ONE 170 inside Impact Arena.

The Colombian sensation is ready to represent the entire Latin American community when he laces up the gloves in Bangkok.

In a previous Instagram post, Estupinan thanked ONE Championship for naming him one of the breakout stars in 2024.

He also promised his Latin American brethren that 2025 would be one of the biggest campaigns of his young career:
