Although the 11 losses on his resume might seem too steep a number for one of the all-time greats of the sport, it's worth noting that the Brazilian once held a 16 fight-win streak in the promotion from 2006-12.
After securing maiden UFC gold against Rich Franklin at UFC 64: Unstoppable, the Brazilian went on to defend his middleweight strap 10 times during his tenure as champion.
The MMA legend has also fought as a light heavyweight in the UFC, winning on three out of four occasions.
Unfortunately, after his UFC 162 loss to Chris Weidman and the subsequent leg injury during sustained at UFC 168 in December 2013, Silva was never the same. Since returning to the promotion in January 2015 'The Spider' registered a record of 1-5-1(NC) before eventually retiring in 2021.
Despite the troubled ending to his career, Anderson Silva is considered one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time.
How has Anderson Silva's boxing career fared so far?
With a record of three wins against two losses, Anderson Silva has had a decent boxing career so far. Interestingly, Silva made his pro-boxing debut in 1998, the same year he began competing in professional mixed martial arts. He lost his boxing debut via corner stoppage.
Although a record of three and two might not seem that impressive, it's worth noting that one of his wins came against former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Right from the first bell, the former UFC champion looked extremely comfortable inside the ring, eventually securing a split decision victory against the Mexican.

Silva also holds a first-round knockout victory over former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz in boxing.
However, in his latest highly touted eight-round boxing clash against YouTuber-turned-professional boxer Jake Paul, 'The Spider' suffered a convincing unanimous decision loss.
