Bryce Mitchell was a man of few words at the UFC 282 press conference. There were a few memorable moments between his opponent, Ilia Topuria, and Paddy Pimblett.

A reporter pointed out Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria being undefeated and asked Mitchell whether handing 'El Matador' his first professional loss would mean anything to him. Ever so stoic, 'Thug Nasty said the following:

"No, I really don't [care], brother. I don't really care about his record or him that much, and I don't consider myself undefeated, you know? I've been... I've had my a** beat quite a bit in the gym and, you know, my neighbors kicked my ass when I was little. I don't see myself as undefeated, so, you know I see myself as a dude who can take an a** whooping, and who ain't afraid of nobody."

Mitchell received a round of applause from the audience before being asked what he thought about Ilia Topuria not being concerned about Mitchell's grappling. Bryce Mitchell said the following in regards to the fight on Saturday:

"I predict I'm going to win. I've already proven Ilia wrong. Ilia said I'm a coward. Does a coward show up prepared to die? No. I'm no coward. I've already proved him wrong and I'll prove him wrong again on Saturday."

Ilia Topuria didn't have much to say about Bryce Mitchell, and seemed more focused on Liverpool superstar Paddy Pimblett. Looking at the press conference, one would think that the fight was between Topuria and Pimblett, and not Mitchell.

Mitchell vs. Topuria will take place on the main card of UFC 282 on December 10th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Ilia Topuria and Bryce Mitchell's heated face-off

At the UFC 282 press conference, 'El Matador' didn't have much to say about his opponent Bryce Mitchell, as much as he had to say about the Scouser, Paddy Pimblett, who is facing Jared Gordon in the co-main event.

Though Topuria and Mitchell didn't interact at the UFC 282 press conference, they had some words for each other at the presser face-offs.

As they stared each other down, Topuria took a moment before saying the following:

"I have to finish you, brother. You already got your foot in the farm."

In response, 'Thug Nasty' invoked the Holy Spirit by reciting Psalm 23:4:

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil!"

Mitchell and Topuria will fight on the main card of UFC 282, which will be co-headlined by Paddy Pimblett and Jared Gordon, while Jan Blachowicz will take on Magomed Ankalaev for the vacant light-heavyweight title. The event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, and the main card will begin at 10 PM ET.
