O'Malley will defend his UFC bantamweight title against Dvalishvili in a highly anticipated grudge fight. The two will headline UFC 306, also known as 'Riyadh Season Noche UFC'. The pay-per-view event will take place at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sept. 14, two days before Mexican Independence Day.

Sean O'Malley anticipates a knockout victory against Merab Dvalishvili in his upcoming fight at UFC 306. O'Malley also predicted that Dvalishvili would be "hurt" in their title fight.

In a recent episode of the TimboSugarShow podcast, O'Malley made a bold forecast about the outcome of the fight, saying:

''I know I'm going to hurt him eventually. At one point, I'm going to hurt him, but then it could turn into a brutal just KO, just an absolute not a good weight cut, not a good camp, and he just gets slept bad, like that [Li] Jingliang. Like one of those, five or six punches just to add up, and the last one just puts him to the canvas snoring. Nose crooked, cats screaming."
