Gordon Ryan has soared to the top of the sport of BJJ. He is widely considered the GOAT of no-gi jiu-jitsu and has been able to cash in on his skills.
The five-time ADCC champion has a huge social media presence and is known for his controversial opinions, which he posts on Instagram. However, he is the most dominant athlete in the sport and this, paired with his ability to trash talk, has made him the best ever. According to bjjmore.com, Ryan's net worth is roughly estimated to be around $50 million.
The jiu-jitsu legend has many sources of revenue, from fights, tournament wins, sponsors, etc. However, his biggest source of revenue are his BJJ instructionals. Ryan has monetized his skills and name very well. He has his own instructional videos that come in bundles and regularly shares the income that he generates through these bundles on Instagram.

Gordon Ryan has also recently signed a seven-figure multi-fight deal with Flosports, the biggest deal signed by a BJJ athlete in history. All this has allowed him to live a very lavish life, and Ryan claims that the house he lives in costs around $2 million and also owns five cars of his own.
Gordon Ryan and Nicky Rod call each other out for not being 'natural' athletes
Nicky Rod called out Gordon Ryan for using steroids to gain muscle and improve his physique over the last few years. However, Gordon did not refute the claims and he clapped back saying he is not the only one using steroids. Technically speaking, neither of the fighters are wrong if they use steroids since it is not illegal to use them in the sport..
In a recent interview, Rod spoke about what makes Gordon good:
"His biggest thing is steroids. You can't gain fifty pounds of muscle and be like 'oh it's irrelevant'. No, it's super f****ing relevant, you wouldn't be half the person you were if you didn't do that. No disrespect, but you have somebody that preaches technique is king, technique is king, and then why are you trying to be so strong.
"I honestly wouldn't have even said that if he didn't after our match, be like 'oh this guy's f***ing greasing'. Which I didn't."
Derek from More Plates More Dates, randomly took a blood test of Nicky Rod and posted the results on his YouTube channel. According to him, Rod is a natural athlete and did not test positive for any PEDs. However, Gordon Ryan has yet to comment on the matter.
