PFL 8 seems to have had some UFC action as well. Middleweight contenders Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen got into a brawl following the event.
Both men have been on each other's radars for a while. They were slated to fight in April before Vettori pulled out due to injury. Their latest physical altercation has drawn much attention. Per a post by MMA media member Alex Behunin, Vettori initiated the incident as he took a swing at fellow MMA fighter George Tokkos at the Hard Rock Casino.
Soon after, things escalated as Allen stepped in and hit 'The Italian Dream' with a one-two combo, which made the latter fall onto a nearby roulette table. It's still unclear what sparked the initial confrontation between Vettori and Tokkos.

Allen is set to face the No.4-ranked Nassourdine Imavov in September in Paris. The American is currently on a seven-fight win streak, and a win over Imavov will likely see him break into the divisional top five.
Meanwhile, Vettori's next fight is yet to be announced. He was last seen in a unanimous decision loss to Jared Cannonier at UFC on ESPN 47 last year.
When Brendan Allen slammed Marvin Vettori for pulling out of their fight
After defeating Chris Curtis at UFC Fight Night 240, Brendan Allen called for the promotion to grant him Marvin Vettori's spot on the middleweight ladder.
During the post-fight press conference for the event, 'All In' argued that Vettori, who has been less active than him, doesn't deserve to retain his ranking without fighting for it. The No.7-ranked middleweight contender then shamed the Italian for pulling out of the event.
At the post-fight presser, he said:
"He was supposed to fight tonight, [but] he backed out because of his shoulder... You can't win the war if you don't make it to the war. You can't talk s**t if you don't make it to the war that you were supposed to come to. As simple as that." [13:30]
