Paddy Pimblett says that his fight with Jared Gordon was not close
During his post-fight octagon interview, rising UFC superstar Paddy Pimblett quickly disagreed when Joe Rogan expressed that his fight with Jared Gordon was close.
Pimblett explained that he thought he handily won rounds 1 and 2 and coasted in the third to ensure a win:
"No, it wasn't, that wasn't close... No not at all, I won the first two rounds and then coasted in the third. I knew I was two rounds up, so I didn't want to do nothing dangerous and risk losing the fight. I knew for a fact that I had won the first two rounds pretty easily."
