Andreas Michael, coach of Khamzat Chimaev, has given a timeframe on when the welterweight star is set to return to the octagon.
'Borz' last appeared in the cage at the infamous UFC 279 pay-per-view last year. Chimaev was at the heart of the controversy throughout the event as he was involved in a backstage scuffle that forced the pre-fight press conference to be canceled as a matter of safety.
More shockingly, however, was his staggering 7.5lb weightmiss when he stepped onto the scales to face Nate Diaz. The UFC was forced into a reshuffle and the Chechen-born Swede was dropped from the main-event slot versus Diaz and faced Kevin Holland in a catchweight bout instead.

'Borz' continued his undefeated streak (12-0) by submitting Holland in the first round but following the event, Dana White stated that the 28-year-old would likely fight at middleweight in the future.
With that in mind, Khamzat Chimaev's coach, Andreas Michael, has given fans some insight into when they should expect Chimaev back.
In an interview with Submission Radio, Michael explained that 'Borz' will soon be honoring Ramadan, which takes place from March 22 to April 21. Following the conclusion of his fasting, he will immediately begin training:
"He just wants to do the Ramadan and he's focusing on his regligion. After that he's gonna start so, all respect to that and we're just ready to go when he gets back."

Dana White reveals Khamzat Chimaev will fight at middleweight next
During UFC 286's media week this week, Dana White made a claim that has put the middleweight division on notice. The UFC president expects Khamzat Chimaev to make his next walk to the octagon at 185lbs.
According to White, 'Borz' will be thrown into the deep end as he expects to lock Chimaev with fights against the top three ranked in the division. As of now, those include champion Alex Pereira, the No.1 ranked Israel Adesanya and former champion Robert Whittaker.
During an interview with BT Sport, Dana White said:
"Yeah, he'll fight at middleweight, and yes he is in a position where he should be fighting top three guys in the world."
