As per details available on IMDb, former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman will play the role of a naval officer in the new Marvel film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
According to a report by WE GOT THIS COVERED, even though the UFC superstar has a few lines in the movie, his role is more of a cameo.
Wakanda Forever is the sequel to the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe hit movie Black Panther. The sequel revolves around the death of the previous film's protagonist, King T'Chall, and the subsequent attack on Wakanda by the mutant Namor, The Sub Mariner.

The film premiered on November 11. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright as T'Challa's younger sister Shuri, Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as the Dora Milaje general, Okoye, and Angela Bassett as T'Challa's mother, Ramonda.
The MCU project is 'The Nigerian Nightmare's silver screen debut. The film is currently rated 7.4/10 on IMDb and 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. As per a report by Boxoffice Pro, the film has raked in upwards of $10.1 million on its opening day.
Earlier this year, Kamaru Usman lost his welterweight title in a KO loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 278. 'The Nigerian Nightmare' is expected to get an immediate rematch against the Brit in a 2023 UFC pay-per-view card in the United Kingdom.
Kamaru Usman says that he feels blessed to be a part of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
In a recent appearance on the ESPN MMA show DC&RC, Kamaru Usman shared his thoughts on getting the opportunity to be a part of the highly anticipated MCU film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
During the segment, the former welterweight champion told Daniel Cormier that he felt very blessed to be a part of such a monumental film. Usman also shared that he was especially stoked to watch the film with his daughter:
"Everyone that's anyone in Hollywood was there [at the film's premiere]... You know myself and my daughter love to watch movies. Now we actually get to sit in that movie room and watch the movie and she can point to me and say, 'Oh daddy, you're in that movie.' I'm just blessed and amazed to be a part of something so large and so monumental."
