UFC 286 will return to England for its first pay-per-view event in the country since UFC 204 in October 2016. The main card in London will be headlined by the welterweight titleholder Leon Edwards, who is incidentally the second-ever champion from the country after Michael Bisping.

Edwards is yet to defend his welterweight title after winning it from Kamaru Usman back in August last year in spectacular fashion. In a fight dominated by Usman, Edwards came from behind to land a perfect head kick in the final round and pull off an unthinkable victory. The meeting between the two will mark their trilogy fight.

The co-main event will feature two of the hardest hitters in the lightweight division in Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev. The two dynamic strikers rank high on the divisional ladder at No.3 and No.6, respectively, and a positive result for either of them will shake up the contenders' scene in the weight class.

Former middleweight title challenger Marvin Vettori will take on No.8-ranked contender Roman Dolidze, who is on a four-fight win streak. The women's flyweight division will be represented on the main card with a fiery matchup between Joanne Wood and Luana Carolina.

Bryan Barberena recently replaced Daniel Rodriguez in a welterweight bout against Gunnar Nelson after Rodriguez withdrew due to undisclosed reasons. Exciting unbeaten prospect Muhammad Mokaev will take on Jafel Filho at flyweight in front of his home crowd to close out the early preliminary card.
