It's a great time to be an MMA fan. The UFC schedule for 2023 is jam-packed with exciting fights, rematches, and long-awaited returns of certain fan-favorite fighters. Let's take a look at all the announced pay-per-view bouts for 2023.

Later today at UFC 284, Alexander Volkanovski will move up in weight to challenge lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.

While a Makhachev win will see the Russian take over the No. 1 spot on the promotion's pound-for-pound ladder, if 'The Great' wins, he'll become the fifth-ever simultaneous two-division champion in the history of the promotion.

On March 4 at UFC 285, former light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones will make his heavyweight debut in a title fight against Ciryl Gane. This will be the first time 'Bones' will be stepping inside the octagon in well over three years.

The co-main event features a women's flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso. The card also features a welterweight match-up between rising star Shavkat Rakhmonov and Geoff Neal.

That brings us to UFC 286 on March 18 at the O2 in London. The fight card will be headlined by the highly anticipated trilogy bout between Kamaru Usman and welterweight champion Leon Edwards.

Earlier in August 2022, 'Rocky' pulled off an upset against 'The Nigerian Nightmare' with a late head kick KO putting an end to Usman's 15-fight win streak inside the octagon. The card also features a lightweight match-up between former interim champion Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev.

The highly anticipated rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira will take place at UFC 287 on April 8 at the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida.

Interestingly, 'Poatan' currently holds three victories over 'The Last Stylebender' in combat sports, two in kickboxing and one in MMA. Elsewhere on the card, BMF champion Jorge Masvidal will face former welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns.
