Entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David is an unabashedly avid supporter of controversial kickboxer Andrew Tate.
Tate was arrested along with his brother Tristan in Romania last December for allegedly co-ercing women into pornography after initially luring them with promises of marriage. The brothers have since remained in custody as the Romanian court continues to extend their detention without any charges being filed against them.
Patrick Bet-David recently discussed the immediate potential consequences of Andrew Tate's release. Bet-David boldly claimed that Romanian authorities could get into trouble if they fail to build an airtight case against 'Cobra'.
The Valuetainment founder also believes that Tate's first live video after his release from jail could be record-breaking. Bet-David recently said on the Anything Goes With James English podcast:

"They best get this guy...Can you imagine if he comes out and he's free, what his first live is gonna be like? It could break the record...It will be the talk of the world, it will be banned in countries, it will be feared. Because if you go after a person like this, you better have proof to arrest them or get them. You don't go through somebody like this cause they become a big figure. And their message become bigger, specifically to the people that didn't listen to it before."

Is Andrew Tate likely to be released soon?
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were initially arrested for 24 hours before the Romanian court accepted a plea from DIICOT (the agency in charge of the investigation) to extend the brothers' detention for 30 days.
Tate's appeal against the extension and subsequent ones have consistently been turned down by the court, citing 'preventive detention'.
However, the Bucharest Court has now surprisingly decided to judge 'Cobra's' request to be placed under judicial control, with a hearing scheduled for today. Tate's lawyers wrote in a statement:
"The Bucharest Court has established the trial terms within which the requests to replace the measure of preventive detention with that of judicial control on bail will be discussed, formulated by the defense, as follows: Andrew Tate - 14.03, 8.30 am, Tristan Tate - 15.03 - I will return with confirmation of the time." h/t spynews.ro
The lawyers also specified that the plea to replace preventive detention with judicial control was not based on medical grounds.
