'Pretty Boy' Kwon Won Il aims to avenge his defeat against Fabricio Andrade at the turn of the year, and he's ready to back his talk on fight night inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 24.

The South Korean slugger runs it back against the Brazilian knockout specialist, this time with the latter's ONE bantamweight MMA world championship on the line. Their war is scheduled for five rounds and will be one of three world title matchups at ONE 170.

In their first meeting, 'Wonder Boy' got the job done in 62 seconds at ONE 158. The 27-year-old connected with a straight-jab combo and a left body kick that left Kwon curled up in pain on the canvas.

Kwon Won Il, of course, has left no stone unturned in his bid to pull their rivalry to one apiece.

He's been watching the replay of their first fight, and though it only makes it harder for him to erase the painful memory of that loss, it has also provided the No.3-ranked challenger with the necessary points needed to fix his strategy on fight night.

In an appearance on the Anything Goes podcast, the Extreme Combat and P-Boy MMA athlete said:

"So this time, I fixed everything, and I'm very confident whatever he tries, it's not gonna work."

Fabricio Andrade says he's studied Kwon Won Il's recent wins to prep himself for ONE 170 showdown

Fabricio Andrade vows to not take things for granted as he gears himself for the first defense of his ONE bantamweight MMA world title.

Though he owns a win over Kwon Won Il, 'Wonder Boy' told Sportskeeda MMA that his foe, who enjoys a three-match winning run heading into this contest, has improved since their last encounter:

"I've watched some of his last fights - his last three fights - and also I watched my fight against him. But I'm not thinking only about the fight [I had against him], you know."

ONE 170 will broadcast live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 24. North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription can tune in for free.
