Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were released from prison on Friday, March 31.
On December 29, 2022, the Tate brothers were arrested by Romanian authorities during an investigation for human trafficking, running an organized crime group, and rape. After numerous appeals were denied, the controversial social media personalities were placed on house arrest, ending their time behind bars.
Once the Tate brothers were released, their loyal fanbase celebrated on social media. The famous live streamer Adin Ross, who is a close friend of Andrew, expressed his excitement on Twitter by saying:
“Welcome Home brothers. @Cobratate @TateTheTalisman it must be a coincidence you guys get out on the release date of the matrix.”

The former kickboxers believe the world is controlled by higher powers to ensure people maintain their pre-determined roles. The Matrix, a popular movie series, was released on March 31, 1999. Ross compared the movie’s release date to the Tate brother's first day out of prison because they often refer to overcoming the matrix.
Andrew Tate believes justice will be served in his ongoing investigation
Although Tristan and Andrew Tate have been released, they are not in the clear yet. An investigation by Romanian authorities is ongoing while they are on house arrest. With that said, ‘Top G’ is confident that his innocence will be proven. After leaving the Romanian prison, Andrew addressed the media and had this to say about the investigation:
"[I thank the judges] who heard us today because they were very attentive, and they listened to us, and they let us free... I have no resentment in my heart for the country of Romania or for anybody else, I just believe in the truth ... I truly believe that justice will be served in the end. There is zero percent chance of me being convicted for something I've not done."
Whether or not the Tate brothers get convicted, their loyal fanbase will likely continue to support them. The former kickboxers have received plenty of backlash since becoming famous, but they always seem to gain more support. It’ll be intriguing to see if they can avoid more time behind bars.
