As talk of a showdown between tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk did the rounds on social media last year, UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones took to social media to pick a side.
'Bones' uploaded a post to his X account revealing he was on Zuckerberg's side. He also offered his services for training the Facebook co-founder:
"You already know I am Team Zuck.... Let me know if you need a training partner!"

Musk and Zuckerberg were going back-and-forth on social media in 2023, expressing their interest in fighting each other. UFC CEO Dana White also tried to get involved in the matter, trying to set up a matchup between the two for a UFC event.
White shared that he had spoken to both individuals and got positive confirmation about their interest in the clash. He also claimed that the matchup would prove to be the biggest fight ever:
"I was talking to both Elon and Mark last night. Both guys are absolutely dead serious about this... Because they both said, 'Yeah, we'll do it.' They both wanna do it... This would be the biggest fight ever in the history of the world. Bigger than anything that's ever been done. It would break all pay-per-view records. These guys would raise hundreds of millions of dollars for charity. And you know, you don't have to be a fight fan to be interested in this fight. Everybody would wanna see it."

Despite all the talk and hype surrounding this clash, the fight failed to become a reality.
