The story of Nate Diaz and his bottle-throwing antics are endless. Recently the UFC fighter-turned-boxer was in Vegas to support his friend Kron Grace, who will square off against Bryce Mitchell at UFC 310. Diaz attended the ceremonial weigh-in while Islam Makhachev was present at the venue for the UFC 311 presser.
'The Stockton Slugger,' has a long-running feud with Makhachev's teammate, training partner, and friend Khabib Nurmagomedov. The feud started when he slapped Nurmagomedov during a 2015 run-in.
A backstage altercation reportedly took place when Diaz threw bottles at the current UFC lightweight champion and team, who also threw bottles back at him. However, security soon intervened to prevent the situation from escalating.
Championship Rounds on X posted the video of the backstage altercation.

'The Stockton Slugger's' notorious history of bottle-throwing during UFC press conferences is well-known. He tossed cans at Conor McGregor at UFC 202, and the Irishman fired bottles back at him and his crew.
For the same reasons, the press conference at UFC 279 also had to be canceled. In 2023, the Stockton MMA icon who was at a Misfits Boxing Event, threw a bottle at Chase DeMoor, igniting a feud.
Nate Diaz has expressed a desire to rematch with Conor McGregor
Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor have fought twice in the UFC. The first fight was won by Diaz via submission while 'The Notorious' won the next fight via decision.
A third match can settle the score between the two. However, Diaz who is a free agent now was asked by reporter Jamal Niaz if he would like to rematch the Irishman in a bare-knuckle match. The 39-year-old American responded:
"I (Nate Diaz) wouldn't like to fight him (Conor McGregor) in the bare-knuckle fight, though. I'd like him in a real fight because we got history there and we gotta finish what we gotta do and that's a real fight. It's the whole package."
Fans would love to see him fight McGregor to finish the trilogy, but there is no word on his official return as he is still a free agent.
