UFC 287 is the next pay-per-view event for the world's largest MMA promotion, and is set to take place on the 9th of April in Miami, Florida.
The event hosts an incredible line-up of fights, but arguably none are more thrilling than the PPV main event between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya. 'Poatan' will look to defend his newly-acquired middleweight crown, while Adesanya will be hoping to reclaim the title he lost to Pereira at UFC 281 last year.
The co-main event features an elite welterweight matchup between Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal. Both men have suffered several losses in their previous four bouts, and will be hoping to make a statement next weekend.

Burns will head into the fight with more momentum than Masvidal, as 'Durinho' demolished Neil Magny via first-round submission in his previous fight. 'Gamebred' suffered a bitter defeat to rival Colby Covington last time out. He needs a win against a top contender like Burns to give himself a chance at a title shot.
Rob Font will take on surging bantamweight contender Adrian Yanez in the featured bout at UFC 287. Font is coming off of a brutal decision loss to Marlon 'Chito' Vera, and is 2-2 in his last four.
Yanez, on the other hand, is riding a wave of momentum. The surging prospect is 5-0 in the UFC, with four of those wins coming via TKO/KO. Yanez, who is ranked No.12 in the division, will be hoping to leapfrog a majority of the division with a victory over the no.6 ranked Font.
Fan-favorite Kevin Holland will face Santiago Ponzinibbio in what should be an entertaining clash of styles. Both men are expressive fighters who don't mind putting on a show, with Ponzinnibio coming off of a highlight-reel knockout of Alex Morono last time out. 'Trailblazer' was outclassed by Stephen Thompson in his previous outing and will be eager to get his career back on track.
The main card of UFC 287 will be opened by one of the UFC's most exciting prospects, Raul Rosas Jr., who made his promotional debut at just 18 years old. Rosas Jr. will face Christian Rodriguez, who, despite being 7 years old than his opponent, only has 2 more professional fights than Rosas Jr.
Israel Adesanya reveals a change of mindset ahead of UFC 287
Israel Adesanya has one goal in mind for UFC 287 next weekend - regaining his middleweight title that he held for over three years.
Adesanya is set to take on Alex Pereira in a highly-anticipated rematch. The pair have met three times across disciplines, with 'Poatan' claiming victory on all three occasions. However, all three fights were tightly contested, and their fourth bout should be no different.
Israel Adesanya recently described how his mindset has shifted from the 'hunted' to the 'hunter' ahead of UFC 287. He said this:
"I'm hunting, and I mean that, in every sense of the word. The mindset is different, definitely, and Eugene [Bareman] and I are on the same page."
