Bautista jumped to the No. 9 spot on the UFC bantamweight rankings following his victory over Aldo at UFC 307. Among the most notable cuts from the report, Ovince Saint Preux was removed from the UFC roster following his sixth loss in the last ten appearances.

The 41-year-old made his UFC debut in April 2013 after the Strikeforce was closed by its parent company Zuffa with a majority of the Strikeforce fighters being brought over to the UFC. The American has been a seasoned contender in the UFC light heavyweight division, with notable victories over the likes of Mauricio Rua, Corey Anderson, and Alonzo Menifield.

Fighters added to the UFC roster after recent episode of Dana White's Contender Series

The latest installment of Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS) saw four new fighters earning their spots in the world's premier MMA organization. UFC CEO Dana White welcomed Islam Dulatov, Mario Pinto, Kody Steele, and Artem Vakhitov to the roster.

Dulatov showcased his striking prowess with a stunning elbow knockout victory over Vantilo Antunes in the first round, while Pinto continued his unbeaten streak, finishing Lucas Camacho with a left hook and follow-up strikes.

Kody Steele secured his contract by stopping Chasen Blair with a body shot in the second round. Artem Vakhitov, a former Glory kickboxing star, capped off the night by defeating Islem Masraf via TKO and sealing his spot on the UFC roster.
