The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) unveils some blockbuster PPV lineups for 2023.

The MMA promotion is ready to raise the bar with their lineup of upcoming pay-per-view events in the next quarter of 2023. The stage is set to host some of the most thrilling and highly anticipated events of the year, guaranteeing a heart-pounding experience for fight fans everywhere.

Leon Edwards, the welterweight champion, will aim to defend his title against Kamaru Usman, the former champion whom he defeated to claim the title. The highly anticipated bout will be the main event at UFC 286 in London on March 18th at the O2 Arena in London, England.

The event will be co-headlined by a thrilling matchup between former lightweight title challenger Justin Gaethje and number five ranked lightweight contender Rafael Fiziev.

Micha Figlak and Chris Duncan were slated to square off in a lightweight match. However, due to an injury, Figlak was forced to withdraw from the bout and was replaced by Omar Morales.

The highly anticipated event also included a featherweight fight between Nathaniel Wood and Lerone Murphy. However, owing to a leg injury, Wood was forced to withdraw from the tournament.It is unknown whether the organization's executives will seek a successor.


Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya set for middleweight Ttitle rematch at UFC 287 in Miami

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will culminate in a packed first quarter of the year with a highly-anticipated rematch between middleweight champion Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya. The title will be on the line when they face off at UFC 287 in Miami on April 8th.

The event will mark the promotion's first return to Miami since 2003 and will feature a lineup of electrifying fights.

The co-main event will feature a showdown between two former welterweight title challengers, Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns. They will compete for the chance to become the No. 1 contender in their division. Masvidal is making his return to the octagon after a year of absence and is ready to face Burns in this high-stakes bout.

Another possible major welterweight showdown is set to take place between Kevin Holland and Santiago Ponzinibbio.

A middleweight fight between Kelvin Gastelum and Chris Curtis has been added to UFC 287. Gastelum, 31, was initially scheduled to face Nassourdine Imavov in the promotion's first main event of the year on January 14, 2023. Unfortunately, Gastelum was injured in training when he took a knee to the mouth.

Raul Rosas Jr., the 18-year-old talent who became the promotion's youngest athlete to contract, returns to the octagon on April 8 to challenge fellow prospect Christian Rodriguez.
