Abdelaziz's firm handles numerous former UFC champions, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, Kamaru Usman, Islam Makhachev, and Henry Cejudo. He also represents Kayla Harrison, a former PFL lightweight champion, and Lance Palmer, a former featherweight champion.

Due to large part to claims of a dubious history that have been made against him, Ali Abdelaziz has generated controversy in the world of mixed martial arts. Ali Abdelaziz was recruited by the New York Police Department (NYPD) to work undercover within a group called Muslims of America, which is based in Virginia. The NYPD has also shared Abdelaziz's services with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). However, the FBI began to have suspicions that he might have been working as a double agent. The doubts increased after Abdelaziz reportedly underwent a polygraph examination. McGregor called him a "terrorist snitch" and humiliated him.

There was another incident involving Abdelaziz and Bellator MMA fighter Dillon Danis at UFC 268, which took place on November 6, 2021. It has been reported that Abdelaziz was involved in a physical altercation with Danis backstage at the event and allegedly slapped him.

Despite the controversy, Abdelaziz has continued to be a successful figure in the MMA world, managing some of the top fighters in the sport. His company, Dominance MMA Management, has helped many fighters achieve great success, and Abdelaziz is often praised for his astute business sense and managerial skills.

Ali Abdelaziz delivers another damaging tweet on Islam Makhachev's IV use

Ali Abdelaziz has potentially made a mistake with a recent tweet. As president of Dominance MMA Management, Abdelaziz is known for being a strong advocate for his clients. However, in this particular case, his tweet may have unintentionally implicated Islam Makhachev for the second time, raising concerns about a possible error in judgment.

Dan Hooker made some startling charges against Islam Makhachev shortly after he fought Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 284. 'The Hangman' said Makhachev cheated unlawfully by using an IV to rehydrate before his fight.

After his tweet potentially implicated Islam Makhachev, Ali Abdelaziz tried to address the matter. However, his response was subsequently deleted. In the tweet, he cited some rules regarding the amount of intravenous (IV) fluids allowed, which may have given the impression that Makhachev had cheated. Even respected MMA journalist Ariel Helwani appeared to confirm the suggestion made by Abdelaziz.
