Surging Kazakh boxer Ali Akhmedov is set to face the equally talented Pierre Hubert Dibombe in the co-main event of Walsh vs. Runowski this Friday, Sept. 20 at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Akhmedov (21-1, 16 KOs) is on a steady rise to the top of the 168-pound ranks, scoring a dominant knockout over Encarnacion Diaz inside two rounds last May. With his fourth stoppage victory in his last five wins, it's hard to deny that the hard-hitting Kazakh is bound for great things. He just needs to get past Dibombe.
As for Dibombe, he has a similar record of 22-1-1, with 12 KOs under his belt. The French boxer will be looking to get back on the winning column after suffering his first pro loss last May at the hands of Bektemir Melikuziev.
