Ribovic's record is distinguished by his ability to finish fights, rattling off 12 finishes in 13 wins. He has never been finished in his career and boasts a wide array of skills that make him a well-rounded fighter.
According to the posts on his Instagram profile, Ribovics divides his time between training at the Brazilian Warriors Central team in Puebla, Mexico, and Kill Cliff Fight Club in Florida. The training facility in Mexico is also home to surging featherweight prospect Diego Lopes, while Kill Cliff FC has forged several legends like Robbie Lawler, Kamaru Usman, and Michael Chandler.
He posted a reel from the Florida facility with wrestling coach Said Saparov. The Argentinian is managed by Dominance MMA, an athlete management firm founded by prominent MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz.
While not much is known about his personal life, Ribovics has been with his Mica Bauza for over seven years. Reflecting on their story in a profoundly heartfelt post, he wrote:
"It's all about matching, finding the person to share your life with, the one who makes it all worthwhile, and I found YOU.. 6 years of that proposal in my room that you said yes.. to know you and learn from you and together with you... UFC lightweight contender Esteban Ribovics will take on Daniel Zellhuber in the second fight on the main card of the Noche UFC 306 event. Ribovics is coming off a first-round head-kick knockout win over Terrence McKinney in May.
'El Gringo' wants to make the opportunity count and believes that fighting at the Sphere in Las Vegas will be a "unique" experience. Speaking in an interview with UFC, he said:
