Controversial influencer Tristan Tate seems to be a student of history. Alongside, his older brother Andrew, he often speaks in length about leadership and the complexities of human ambition with case studies from the past.

During a recent appearance on the Jack Neel Podcast, Tate was asked to weigh in on his choice for the greatest emperor between Alexander the Great, Napoleon, or Genghis Khan. Tate hailed Napoleon Bonaparte as the greatest, considering that the French emperor defined an entire period of military history.

Tate contended that while the other two emperors were part of an era of sword and spear, Napoleon's reign paved the way for strategic brilliance. He further claimed that "Napoleonic warfare" was characterized by the rapid advancement of military technology, musketry, and formation-based combat, which now bears his name. According to him, this singular honor stands a cut above the rest that no other emperor can claim.

Speaking with Jack Neel, he said:

"Napoleon was the greatest because there was a very specific period of human warfare where technology was advancing very rapidly. It ended arguably in the Franco-Prussian War just before World War 1. But it lasted in a period that pre dates Napoleon himself. We're talking about musketry, the marching formation, firing in unison."

He added:

"The reason Napoleon is the greatest is because this age of warfare is not called musketry warfare. It's called Napoleonic warfare! He owns the name for a period of human warfare. No one else does."

Tristan Tate weighs in on the 2024 United States elections

Tristan Tate ufc-bmf-belt" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-is-sponsored="false">weighed in on the upcoming 2024 United States presidential election, claiming that Donald Trump should win if the votes are counted fairly.

The Republican leader is going up against Kamala Harris, the current vice president of the United States and the candidate for the Democratic campaign. However, he also voiced concerns about alleged potential electoral fraud that could tilt the scales in favor of Harris.

Speaking about the elections in the aforementioned podcast, Tate said:

"If they count the votes fairly Donald Trump should win. If they cheat Kamala will win. So I'll put it at about fifty-fifty. I was like, 'Oh, Trump's definitely going to win.' I'm like that's because you're talking to voters and asking who they're going to vote. Do you think that matters? One of the reasons we were canceled is for questioning the Integrity of the previous election."
