When Hollis Casey described how she met Drew Dober

While most MMA fans are unaware of the origin of Drew Dober and Hollis Casey's relationship, Casey shared a detailed account of how they met during her appearance on the Outside the Cage podcast in March 2023. She said:

"So, Drew and I met online. He was in the DM. He was trying to message me, and we had never met. I saw, this guy is gorgeous! He's good looking and he's a professional athlete."

Dober was already in the UFC at this point, and that led Casey to form unfavorable opinions about him, as she said:

"I saw his Instagram, and I thought, 'Oh this guy probably thinks he's a big deal.' ... It thought I think I have a pretty good idea of what this guy is gonna be like. So I, kind of, ghosted him a little bit."

Casey said that people tend to portray a different personality on social media and online dating platforms, so she was wary about Dober. However, they continued to chat online and eventually met. Casey noted that she liked Dober's politeness and chivalrous nature, and they decided to commit to each other after their first date.
