British-American lawyer Janine Tate shares her surname with controversial media personality Andrew Tate, who is currently imprisoned in Romania. But are they related?
Janine is the younger sister of 'Cobra' and the youngest of the Tate siblings. While Andrew and Tristan Tate are seemingly inseparable, they barely talk to their sister.
The 31-year-old lawyer was born in Chicago to parents Eileen and Emory Tate. Janine's parents separated when she was five and the Tate siblings subsequently left for the United Kingdom along with their mother.

Janine Tate reportedly spent her childhood in Luton, Bedfordshire, before obtaining a law degree from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association on October 23, 2017, and has since been practicing full-time in the city.
Janine is married to bodybuilder and nutritionist Norman Webb, with whom she lives in Lexington, Kentucky. Her husband reportedly has a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Kentucky.
The relationship between Janine Tate and her brother Andrew Tate
Janine Tate has always had a strained relationship with her elder brothers Andrew and Tristan due to their contrasting world-views.
Andrew Tate has previously admitted to not being on good terms with his sister, citing her alleged lack of intelligence. Other points of contention included Janine's feminist ideology and her critique of former US president Donald Trump.
'Cobra' said in an earlier interview:
“Now I have a sister. My sister and I, we don’t really talk because she goes to feminist rallies and believes [Donald] Trump’s a racist. I know, how can Andrew Tate have a low IQ sister? But it’s been proven that the first child [while pointing to himself] is always the smartest. She’s like the third. Who gives a f**k about the third of anything?”
