Kron Gracie was born in 1988 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but spent most of his life in Los Angeles, California, in the United States. With his father being the legendary Rickson Gracie and his grandfather being the Gracie jiu-jitsu Grandmaster Helio Gracie, Kron Gracie was naturally introduced to Brazilian jiu-jitsu from a very young age. In fact, there is footage of a young Gracie playfully engaging in jiu-jitsu with his father in the famous 1995 Rickson Gracie documentary "Choke." Gracie's first recorded competitive medal in BJJ dates back to 1998 when he was just 10 years old. He won first place in the yellow belt division at the American International Championship.

Kron Gracie returns to octagon at UFC 288
The UFC has confirmed that UFC 288 will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on May 6. This will be the first UFC event to take place at the venue since August 2019 when Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler headlined a card there. The announcement was made by UFC officials on Tuesday, and fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the promotion to Newark.
After a three-year absence, BJJ expert Kron Gracie will make his return to the octagon to face off against Charles Jourdain. Gracie has been relatively quiet since his October 2019 loss to Cub Swanson, which marked the first loss of his professional MMA career. However, Jourdain is coming off two consecutive losses and will be aiming to get back on track with a win against Gracie. Fans are excited to see Gracie's comeback and are curious to see how he will fare after his lengthy layoff.
