Nurideen Shabazz is a popular American internet personality who transitioned to becoming a professional boxer. Shabazz has gained popularity for his content on YouTube and TikTok.

Shabazz was born on Oct. 5, 2000, in Tampa, Florida, where he continues to live. He started his YouTube channel in November 2013, with his content revolving primarily around boxing. He routinely collaborated with YouTuber Fousey and professional boxer Anthony Taylor for training-related content.

Popularly known as 'Deen The Great,' Shabazz has over half a million YouTube subscribers. He also enjoys over 390,000 Instagram followers, as of the time of writing. Apart from training videos, Shabazz's content also includes reaction videos to boxing events, challenges and interviews.

While boxing has been a primary focus of Shabazz's life and social media content, he did not begin competing until 2022. As influencer boxing gained popularity, 'Deen The Great' saw an opportunity.

He made his boxing debut against fellow TikToker Stuart Kellogg, more popularly known as 'Evil Hero' in August 2022. After knocking him down multiple times, Shabazz won the bout by a first-round KO. The win earned him the inaugural Misfits Boxing lightweight title.

Nurideen Shabazz holds a 4-0 professional boxing record (2 KOs). After making a successful debut against Evil Hero, Shabazz defeated Iraqi TikTok star Walid Sharks by a third-round TKO in November 2022.

While influencer boxing has been criticized for its apparent lack of competitive relevance, Shabazz has shown definitely shown his fighting spirit. In his January 2023 fight against Pully Arif, 'Deen The Great' reportedly suffered two shoulder injuries but continued to press the action and walked away with a unanimous decision victory.

The American scored his latest win in October 2023, when he outpointed Sharks en route to a unanimous decision victory in the rematch. 'Deen The Great' reportedly broke his hand and suffered a shoulder injury in this bout, but that didn't stop him from convincingly defeating the Iraqi boxer.

Shabazz, who is currently under an exclusive contract with Misfits Boxing, has big ambitions in the sport. He has expressed the desire to compete against elite professional boxers like Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis.
