Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev (lightweight title)
Aljamain Sterling vs. T.J. Dillashaw (bantamweight title)
Petr Yan vs. Sean O’Malley (bantamweight bout)
Beneil Dariush vs. Mateusz Gamrot (lightweight bout)
Katlyn Chookagian vs. Manon Fiorot (women's flyweight bout)
Charles Oliveira (33-8-1)
Charles Oliveira has been unstoppable as of late, racking up 11 straight victories in the stacked 155-pound division. 'Do Bronx' has dispatched the likes of Michael Chandler, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje in his recent outings, solidifying his status as the top lightweight in the world. At UFC 280, the Brazilian will have the opportunity to reclaim the lightweight crown he lost to the scales against 'The Highlight' last time out in May.
Islam Makhachev (22-1)
Islam Makhachev has been on a tear in the 155-pound division, amassing a 10-fight winning streak en route to his first shot at the lightweight throne. The Dagestani most recently dispatched Bobby Green via first-round TKO in February after a trio of submission wins over Dan Hooker, Thiago Moises, and Drew Dober in 2021.
Aljamain Sterling (21-3)
Aljamain Sterling solidified his status as a true bantamweight king by edging out Petr Yan in their rematch in April. At UFC 280, 'Funk Master' will now look to make a second successful title defense and pick up his eighth consecutive victory.
T.J. Dillashaw (17-4)
T.J. Dillashaw failed a drug test when he attempted to capture the UFC flyweight title against then-champion Henry Cejudo in January 2019 and was subsequently stripped of his bantamweight title.
After a two-year suspension from USADA, the Californian returned last July and picked up a split decision win over Cory Sandhagen. Dillashaw will now enter the bantamweight title bout at UFC 280 hoping to become a three-time UFC champion.
Petr Yan (16-3)
Petr Yan will look to get back in the win column when he takes on a rising sensation in Sean O'Malley this Saturday. The Russian's only two losses in his 10-fight UFC career came against current champion Aljamain Sterling.
Sean O’Malley (15-1)
Sean O’Malley is set to take a major leap in competition, hoping to prove his legitimacy as a top-level bantamweight. Ranked No.11 in the pecking order, 'Sugar' is unbeaten in his last four trips to the octagon with his only career defeat coming at the hands of Marlon Vera in August 2020.
Beneil Dariush (21-4-1)
Beneil Dariush was awarded a unanimous decision win against Tony Ferguson last time out in May 2021. The Californian was slated to take on Islam Makhachev last February in a potential title eliminator. However, the 33-year-old was forced to withdraw from that fight due to a broken fibula.
Ranked No.6 in the lightweight division, Dariush is riding a seven-fight win streak; the third-highest in the division, behind Oliveira's 11 and Makhachev's 10.
Mateusz Gamrot (21-1-1NC)
Mateusz Gamrot is coming off a big win over the highly-touted Arman Tsarukyan in their main event bout in June. 'Gamer' is unbeaten in his past four bouts, three of which were finishes.
Katlyn Chookagian (18-4)
Ranked No.1 in the women's flyweight division, Katlyn Chookagian is coming off four consecutive victories. The 33-year-old notched a decision win over Amanda Ribas in May after edging out Jennifer Maia in January earlier this year. However, 'Blonde Fighter' hasn't finished a fight since 2016.
Manon Fiorot (9-1)
Manon Fiorot will make her first pay-per-view appearance at UFC 280 this Saturday. The Frenchwoman has amassed a 4-0 UFC record and is unbeaten in her last nine bouts. 'The Beast' has finished six of those fights.

Sean Brady (15-0)
Sean Brady is undefeated in his professional MMA career with a perfect 15-0 record. The grappling specialist will aim for a statement performance at UFC 280 this Saturday to make his way into title contention. Brady is coming off a unanimous decision win over Michael Chiesa last November.
Makhmud Muradov (25-7)
Makhmud Muradov's 14-fight unbeaten run came to a screeching halt when he ran into Gerald Meerschaert in August. The 32-year-old will be determined to get back to his winning ways when he takes on a streaking Brazilian at UFC 280 this Saturday.
Caio Borralho (12-1-1)
Caio Borralho will make his third promotional appearance at UFC 280 this weekend on the back of a 12-fight unbeaten run. The Brazilian outpointed Armen Petrosyan last time out in July before scoring a controversial technical decision win over Gadzhi Omargadzhiev in his promotional debut in April.
Volkan Oezdemir (18-6)
Volkan Oezdemir rebounded from back-to-back losses by edging out Paul Craig in his last UFC appearance in July. The 33-year-old is 3-5 in his last eight bouts.
Nikita Krylov (28-9)
Nikita Krylov is coming off an impressive first-round finish of Alexander Gustafsson in July to rebound from two straight losses. Much like his next opponent. The Ukrainian also hasn't shown much consistency in recent years, going 4-4 in his last eight fights.
Abubakar Nurmagomedov (16-3-1)
Abubakar Nurmagomedov scored a unanimous decision win over Jared Gooden in March 2021 to bounce back from his submission defeat to David Zawada in his UFC debut. The 32-year-old will be looking for his second win under the promotional banner when he takes on another relative newcomer.
Gadzhi Omargadzhiev (13-1)
After an unsuccessful start to his promotional career in April, Gadzhi Omargadzhiev is moving down to welterweight for this matchup, hoping to rebound from his only career loss.
Armen Petrosyan (7-2)
Armen Petrosyan's three-fight win streak came to a halt after he came up short against Caio Borralho last time out in July. 'Superman' will be determined to get back to his winning ways when he takes on AJ Dobson at UFC 280 this Saturday.
AJ Dobson (6-1-1)
AJ Dobson suffered his first career defeat in his UFC debut against Jacob Malkoun in February. The 30-year-old will be searching for his first UFC win at UFC 280 this weekend.
Muhammad Mokaev (8-0-1)
Muhammad Mokaev impressed in his UFC debut when he submitted Cody Durden in under a minute. 'The Punisher' couldn't find a finish in his last octagon outing in July and settled for a unanimous decision victory instead. The undefeated prospect will now aim for a statement performance when he makes his third promotional appearance at UFC 280.
Malcolm Gordon (14-5)
Malcolm Gordon had a 0-2 start to his promotional career, losing both fights via stoppage. However, the Canadian rattled off two consecutive victories of his own, scoring a TKO via arm injury over Denys Bondar in February.
Lina Lansberg (10-6)
Lina Lansberg will enter her bout at UFC 280 on the back of two straight losses. The Swedish fighter most recently suffered a unanimous decision loss against Pannie Kianzad in April.
Karol Rosa (15-4)
Karol Rosa's six-fight winning streak came to a halt when she ran into Sara McMann in March. At UFC 280 this Saturday, the Brazilian will seek to get back to her winning ways.
