UFC 282: Błachowicz vs. Ankalaev is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on December 10, 2022. The pay-per-view card is topped by a light heavyweight title bout, as former champion Jan Blachowicz takes on the highly-touted Magomed Ankalaev for the vacant 205-pound crown.

In the co-main event of UFC 282, fan favorite Paddy Pimblett will square off against Jared Gordon in a lightweight matchup. The card will also play host to an intriguing middleweight clash between Darren Till and Dricus Du Plessis. In another exciting matchup at UFC 282, Bryce Mitchell will take on Ilia Topuria.

Jan Blachowicz (29-9)

Jan Blachowicz has the opportunity to recapture the 205-pound title after losing it to Glover Teixeira last year. Following his loss to the Brazilian, the Polish fighter scored an impressive TKO victory over Aleksandar Rakic this past May. He is now determined to make another run at the light heavyweight throne.

Magomed Ankalaev (17-1)

Magomed Ankalaev has put together an impressive nine-fight win streak since his unsuccessful UFC debut back in 2018. The Dagestani is coming off a TKO victory over Anthony Smith in July and looks determined to produce another statement performance as he gets his first title shot at UFC 282 this Saturday.

Paddy Pimblett (19-3)

Paddy Pimblett will make his fourth UFC appearance on Saturday, hoping to pick up his fifth straight stoppage win. In his most recent octagon appearance in July, 'The Baddy' submitted Jordan Leavitt with a rear-naked choke before dispatching Rodrigo Vargas via RNC in March earlier this year.

Jared Gordon (19-5)

Jared Gordon bounced back from his submission loss in April by edging out Leonardo Santos this past August at UFC 278. The 34-year-old has gone 4-2 in his last six UFC outings.

Santiago Ponzinibbio (28-6)

Santiago Ponzinibbio is coming off back-to-back split decision losses with his latest defeat coming at against Michel Pereira in May. 'Argentine Dagger' is 1-3 in his last four bouts and will be desperately searching for a win when he takes on a streaking opponent.

Alex Morono (22-7-1)

Alex Morono is riding a four-fight win streak into this bout, with a decision win over Matthew Semelsberger being his latest triumph. Prior to that victory, 'The Great White' picked up wins over Mickey Gall, David Zawada, and Donald Cerrone.

Darren Till (18-4-1)

Darren Till has dropped his last two fights and went 1-4 in his last five UFC outings. 'The Gorilla' was submitted by Derek Brunson in the third round last time out in September 2021. The Brit will be in dire need of a win at UFC 282 this Saturday when he takes on a dangerous opponent.

Dricus Du Plessis (17-2)

Dricus Du Plessis is fresh off a unanimous decision win over Brad Tavares back in July. Prior to that win, 'Stillknocks' had four consecutive stoppage victories to his name.

Bryce Mitchell (15-0)

Bryce Mitchell's professional career is nearly perfect. His only pro defeat came against Brad Katona at the The Ultimate Fighter Season 27 semifinals in early 2018 which was contested as an exhibition. 'Thug Nasty' went on to score a majority decision win over Tyler Diamond in the season finale before recording 5 consecutive wins thereafter. Most recently, Mitchell picked up a dominant unanimous decision win over Edson Barboza this past March.

Ilia Topuria (12-0)

Ilia Topuria will have the opportunity to extend his record to a perfect 13-0 on Saturday. 'El Matador' is coming off three straight knockout wins, with his latest triumph coming over Jai Herbert at lightweight in March. The 25-year-old will drop back down to 145 pounds for this matchup.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs. Chris Daukaus (heavyweight)

Chris Curtis vs. Joaquin Buckley (middleweight)

Raul Rosas Jr. (6-0)

Raul Rosas Jr. is set to make his UFC debut this Saturday. His latest win came over Mando Gutierrez via unanimous decision at Dana White's Contender Series 2022: Week 9 in September.

Jay Perrin (10-6)

Jay Perrin had a 0-2 start to his UFC career with his latest defeat coming against Qileng Aori in August. It is likely he could be sent packing if he fails to dispatch his next opponent on Saturday night.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik (12-4)

Jairzinho Rozenstruik's octagon career has been on a downward trajectory, as of late. The 34-year-old is coming off back-to-back losses and is 2-4 in his last six bouts. In his most recent outing in June, 'Bigi Boy' suffered a first-round TKO at the hands of Alexander Volkov.

Chris Daukaus (12-5)

Much like his opponent, Chris Daukaus is also coming off two straight losses, putting an end to his five-fight win streak. The Pennsylvanian suffered a second-round TKO at the hands of Curtis Blaydes last time out in March before getting knocked out in the first round by Derrick Lewis late last year.

Edmen Shahbazyan (11-3)

Edmen Shahbazyan finds himself on a three-fight losing streak after going unbeaten in 11 professional bouts. 'The Golden Boy' most recently suffered a second-round TKO against Nassourdine Imavov in November 2021.

Dalcha Lungiambula (11-5)

Dalcha Lungiambula is also on a three-fight losing skid in this bout. In his latest octagon outing, the 35-year-old suffered a second-round knockout at the hands of Punahele Soriano in July.

Chris Curtis (29-9)

Chris Curtis's eight-fight win streak came to a halt when he ran into Jack Hermansson last time out in July. 'The Action Man' will hope to get back to his winning ways when he takes on Joaquin Buckley at UFC 282 on Saturday.

Joaquin Buckley (15-5)

Joaquin Buckley was edged out by Nassourdine Imavov in their bout in September. Like his next opponent, 'New Mansa' will be determined to back into the win column on Saturday.
