UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Araujo (also known as UFC Fight Night 212 and UFC Vegas 62), will be the next Fight Night effort from the world's premier MMA promotion. The event will take place this Saturday, October 15, with several intriguing matchups to look forward to.
In the main event of UFC Vegas 62, No.5-ranked contender Alexa Grasso will take on the No.6-seeded Viviane Araujo in a flyweight clash.
The co-main event of UFC Fight Night will see MMA veteran Cub Swanson return to the octagon to take on Jonathan Martinez in a bantamweight matchup.

In her latest promotional outing in March, Grasso picked up a first-round submission win over Joanne Wood. Prior to that victory, the the Mexican standout scored two consecutive unanimous decision wins over Ji Yeon Kim and Maycee Barber.
Viviane Araujo (11-3)
Viviane Araujo rebounded from her loss to Katlyn Chookagian in May 2021 with a unanimous decision win over Andrea Lee this past May. The 30-year-old Brazilian will now aim to put together a win streak and break into the divisional top 5.
Cub Swanson (28-12)
Cub Swanson suffered a brutal TKO loss at the hands of Giga Chikadze early last year, but bounced back with an impressive first-round TKO win over Darren Elkins in December. 'Killer' is moving down to bantamweight for this matchup, hoping to pick up his second straight victory.
Jonathan Martinez (16-4)
Jonathan Martinez is riding a three-fight win streak for the first time in his UFC octagon career. The Texan will enter the bout hoping to pick up his fourth consecutive win and potentially secure another high-profile matchup.
Askar Askarov (14-1-1)
Askar Askarov will enter his bout at UFC Vegas 62 this Saturday looking to rebound from his sole career defeat that came against Kai Kara-France in March. The Russian also has the opportunity to pick up his first stoppage win under the promotional banner.

After suffering back-to-back defeats through 2020-21, Brandon Royval rattled off two consecutive wins this year. In his latest outing, 'Raw Dawg' submitted Matt Schnell with an impressive first-round guillotine choke.

Jordan Wright is coming off two consecutive losses, with both defeats coming via stoppages. He was most recently submitted by Marc-Andre Barriault in April. 'The Beverly Hills Ninja' is currently 1-3 in his last four bouts and will be determined to get back on track this Saturday.
Dusko Todorovic (11-3)

Misha Cirkunov's UFC career has been on a downward trajectory of late. The 35-year-old is coming off three straight losses, with two of those defeats coming via finishes. Cirkunov is 2-6 in his last eight bouts and could be sent packing if he fails to get his hand raised at UFC Fight Night on Saturday.
Alonzo Menifield (12-3)
Alonzo Menifield has also struggled with consistency in recent years, going 3-3 in his last six bouts. However, 'Atomic' is fresh off a first-round TKO win over Askar Mozharov in June and will be looking to carry that momentum into this weekend's fight.

Nick Maximov suffered his first career loss against Andre Petroski via technical submission in his last trip to the octagon in May. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, Maximov will be determined to get back into the win column at UFC Vegas 61 on Saturday.

Mike Jackson was awarded a win via disqualification in his latest bout against Dean Barry in April. That was when he absorbed an illegal eye gouge after two groin strikes from his opponent in their matchup. The 37-year-old's previous win over Phil 'CM Punk' Brooks was overturned after he tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol due to marijuana use.
Pete Rodriguez (4-1)
Pete Rodriguez made his promotional debut in January earlier this year on the back of four consecutive KO/TKO finishes. However, 'Dead Game' was handed a TKO loss of his own when he went up against Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 270. Rodriguez will be desperately searching for a win when he takes on his next opponent this Saturday.
