Alex Pereira (11-2)
After dropping the middleweight title to Israel Adesanya, Alex Pereira made a successful 205-pound debut by edging out a split-decision win over Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291. 'Poatan' went on to capture the vacant light heavyweight title with a TKO win over Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295.
The Brazilian knocked out Jamahal Hill in the subsequent outing and scored another TKO win over Prochazka at UFC 303.
Pereira will be looking for his third win this year as he defends the title against Khalil Rountree Jr. this weekend.
Khalil Rountree Jr. (13-5-1 NC)
Khalil Rountree Jr. will be eyeing his sixth consecutive victory when he gets this first title shot in Salt Lake City. 'The War Horse' has won four of his last five fights via stoppage and is fresh off a TKO win over former title challenger Anthony Smith via TKO in December.
Raquel Pennington (16-8)
Raquel Pennington edged out Mayra Bueno Silva to win the vacant women's bantamweight gold at UFC 297. The Colorado native picked up her sixth straight victory with that performance and is set to make her first title defense against a former champion.
Julianna Pena (11-5)
Julianna Pena hasn't stepped inside the octagon since her title loss to Amanda Nunes back at UFC 277. After over two years on the shelf, 'The Venezuelan Vixen' will return to action to become a two-time women's bantamweight champion.
Jose Aldo (32-8)
Former UFC featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo ended his retirement when he returned to the promotion at UFC 301 and defeated Jonathan Martinez via unanimous decision. The Brazilian will hope to put together a win streak when he takes on Mario Bautista in Salt Lake City.
Mario Bautista (14-2)
Mario Bautista is riding a six-fight win streak into this fight, including three submission victories. The Arizona native most recently edged out Ricky Simon earlier this year.
Ketlen Vieira (14-3)
Ketlen Vieira ended up on the wrong end of a split decision against Raquel Pennington in January 2023. But, she rebounded by outpointing Pannie Kianzad six months later. 'Fenomeno' will look for a strong performance when he faces a two-time Olympic gold medalist this weekend.

Kayla Harrison impressed in her UFC debut by submitting former champion Holly Holm in the second round. The former PFL champ will likely earn the next shot at the bantamweight gold with another statement victory.

Roman Dolidze dropped back-to-back decisions to Marvin Vettori and Nassourdine Imavov but bounced back by defeating Anthony Smith at UFC 303. 'The Caucasian' looks to start another win streak as he prepares for his next test inside the octagon.

Kevin Holland picked up a first-round technical submission victory over Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC 302 to end a two-fight skid. 'Trailblazer' will hope to keep the momentum going when he faces Roman Dolidze on Saturday.

Joaquin Buckley suffered back-to-back losses in 2022 but strung together four consecutive wins thereafter. 'New Mansa' obliterated Vicente Luque via TKO in March before outpointing the surging Nursulton Ruziboev in May this year.
Marina Rodriguez (17-4-2D)
Marina Rodriguez is 1-3 in his last four fights and is fresh off a split decision loss to Jessica Andrade at UFC 300. With her back against the wall, the Brazilian looks to put her career back on course as she faces a streaking opponent this Saturday.

Iasmin Lucindo's UFC debut didn't go to as per plan as she suffered a unanimous decision loss to Yazmin Jauregui in August 2022. However, Lucindo rebounded with three consecutive victories, with her latest triumph coming over Karolina Kowalkiewicz via unanimous decision at UFC 301.
