Tyler Denny is scheduled to defend his EBU European middleweight title this Saturday. He faces undefeated knockout artist Hamzah Sheeraz on a high-profile Matchroom Boxing card headlined by the great Anthony Joshua, who takes on fellow power-punching heavyweight for the vacant IBF heavyweight title.
Despite being a relative unknown to anyone but hardcore fans of 'The Sweet Science,' Denny will look to steal the show from Joshua against his unbeaten foe. He has a tall task ahead of him, but he is nothing if not determined, and will look to hand Sheeraz his first-ever loss.
For now though, the bulk of boxing's casual fanbase is unfamiliar with Denny. So what can they expect to learn about the defending EBU European middleweight champion?

Tyler Denny's boxing career explored
As a boxer, Tyler Denny is accomplished. Fighting from the southpaw stance, he has used the rarity of his stance to build a 19-2 record at middleweight. Unfortunately, he lacks in punching power, having only ever stopped one of his 19 conquests.
Curiously, one of his two losses was also a stoppage. Nevertheless, he has managed to capture and defend the EBU European middleweight, which he will now look to retain against Hamzah Sheeraz this Saturday on the Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois card.
It will be a difficult challenge, but to do so, he will rely on the expertise of his coach Errol Johnson, who once slapped him to attention in-between rounds in the boxer's bout against Brad Pauls.
