“Whoever ONE wants me to fight” - Mayssa Bastos ready for another title defense after dispatching Danielle Kelly

After scoring a second straight win over Danielle Kelly, ONE atomweight submission grappling world champion Mayssa Bastos is ready for anyone the promotion decides to put in front of her.

Bastos shocked the world in August, scoring a unanimous decision victory over Kelly to claim the atomweight crown at ONE Fight Night 24. Four months later, the Brazilian proved that her win over Kelly was no fluke by once again dispatching the Silver Fox BJJ star at ONE Fight Night 26 in Bangkok.

Through 10 minutes, the grappling contest was fairly even with Kelly appearing to be the aggressor for a majority of the matchup. With only seconds left on the clock, Bastos secured a leg lock which gave her the first and only catch of the contest, paving the way for another unanimous decision win.

During her post-fight interview, Bastos made it clear that she's willing to take on anyone and everyone, leaving it up to ONE Championship to decide who her next challenger will be:

"Anyone. Any other new girl I would like to fight [them]. I don't know. I cannot think about any girl. So whoever ONE wants me to fight, I will fight."

The first time around, Mayssa Bastos' win over Danielle Kelly left a lot of fans scratching their head, many believing Kelly had done enough to leave Thailand with the 26 pounds of ONE gold.

This time, Bastos believes she delivered a much more definitive performance. She added:

"Yeah, I think it was more dominant than last time, and I think I was more dominant than her, for sure".

Bastos is now 3-0 under the ONE Championship banner and carries an impressive 120 career wins to her credit following Friday's fight card in The Land of Smiles.
